DETAIL ITINERARY
Day 1- Arrival in Bhairahawa & Lumbini Exploration
Upon arrival at Bhairahawa International Airport, the group will be welcomed and transferred to
Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha. A full day of exploration includes the Sacred Garden,
Maya Devi Temple, Ashoka Pillar, World Peace Pagoda, and the International Monastic Zone,
featuring temples from various Buddhist traditions worldwide. After a serene day in Lumbini, the
group will check into a 4-star hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2- Kapilvastu Exploration & Transfer to Bhairahawa
After breakfast, the group will travel to Kapilvastu, the ancient kingdom of Prince Siddhartha.
The visit includes Tilaurakot, Kudan, Gotihawa, and Niglihawa, all significant locations linked to
Buddha’s early life.

Day 3- Transfer to Sunauli Border & Travel to Bodhgaya
The journey to India begins with an early morning border crossing at Sunauli. From Gorakhpur,
the group will board a train to Gaya, followed by a road transfer to Bodhgaya, a journey of about
8-9 hours. Upon arrival, they will check into their 3-star hotel and rest overnight.

Day 4- Bodhgaya Sightseeing
A full day of spiritual exploration in Bodhgaya, the place where Buddha attained enlightenment.
The group will visit the Mahabodhi Temple, Bodhi Tree, Great Buddha Statue, Thai Monastery,
Niranjana River, and Sujata Village, where Buddha received his final meal before enlightenment.

Day 5- Travel to Kushinagar
After breakfast, the group will travel 6-7 hours to Kushinagar, the site of Buddha’s
Mahaparinirvana (final enlightenment). They will visit the Mahaparinirvana Temple, Rambhar
Stupa, and Meditation Park, before checking into the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 6- Transfer to Varanasi & Sightseeing
After breakfast, the group will drive 5-6 hours to Varanasi, one of the oldest and holiest cities in
India. They will visit Sarnath, where Buddha delivered his first sermon, and explore Dhamek
Stupa, Mulagandha Kuti Vihara, and the Sarnath Museum. In the evening, they will witness the
spiritually uplifting Ganga Aarti ceremony at the ghats of the River Ganges before returning to
their hotel for the night.

Day 7- Departure to Gorakhpur & Return to Bhairahawa
The group will depart early in the morning from Varanasi and travel 5 hours to Gorakhpur
Railway Station. From there, they will return to Sunauli, cross the border, and be picked up by a
Nepali vehicle for the final transfer to Bhairahawa Airport, marking the end of their memorable
pilgrimage
