Guide

Introduction: Island Escape. City Buzz. All in One Trip.

The boat cuts through turquoise water as a cluster of jungle-covered islands comes into view. An eagle circles overhead. Your guide tosses fish into the sea and within seconds, a dozen white-bellied sea eagles swoop down to feed. You are somewhere between Langkawi's 99 islands, and you already know this trip was worth it.

Then, two days later, you are standing on a bridge between the Petronas Twin Towers, 170 metres above Kuala Lumpur, looking out at a skyline that glitters in every direction. The city pulses with life below you. That night, you eat the best curry you have ever tasted from a street stall for the price of a cup of coffee back home.

This is Malaysia in 6 days and it delivers two completely different travel experiences in one perfect trip. Langkawi gives you the island dream: clear water, white beaches, jungle, and total relaxation. Kuala Lumpur gives you the city thrill: iconic architecture, world-class food, a hilltop temple with rainbow steps, and a mountain resort above the clouds.

Beach. City. Mountains. Temples. Chocolate. What more could you want? Malaysia truly has it all.

Langkawi Malaysia's Duty-Free Island Paradise

Langkawi is an archipelago of 99 islands in the Andaman Sea, off the northwest tip of the Malaysian peninsula. It is Malaysia's only duty-free island which means shopping here is incredibly good value. The main island, Pulau Langkawi, has some of Southeast Asia's most beautiful beaches: Pantai Cenang, Pantai Tengah, and the wild Pantai Pasir Hitam (Black Sand Beach). The interior is ancient tropical rainforest, and the surrounding waters are home to one of the region's most spectacular mangrove ecosystems. It is lush, laid-back, and genuinely beautiful.

Kuala Lumpur Asia's Most Underrated Capital

Kuala Lumpur or KL as everyone calls it is one of Asia's most exciting cities and one of its most underrated. It has the iconic Petronas Twin Towers (still among the world's tallest buildings), a street food scene that rivals Bangkok and Singapore, incredibly efficient public transport, and a fascinating mix of Malay, Chinese, and Indian cultures all living side by side. KL is also the gateway to Genting Highlands and Batu Caves two of Malaysia's most dramatic attractions, both reachable in under an hour from the city centre.

Package Highlights Do Not Miss These!

Langkawi Island Hopping Day 2

Langkawi's island hopping tour is one of the best boat experiences in Southeast Asia. The famous eagle feeding at sea where wild white-bellied sea eagles swoop down to catch fish thrown from the boat is a jaw-dropping natural spectacle. The freshwater lake hidden inside Pulau Dayang Bunting is one of Malaysia's most magical natural wonders. And the final beach stop at Pulau Beras Basah is the kind of place you will want to stay forever.

Petronas Twin Towers & KL City Tour Day 4

The Petronas Towers are not just tall they are genuinely beautiful, with their Islamic geometric design and the sky bridge connecting them at the 41st and 42nd floors. No visit to Malaysia is complete without seeing them. The KL city tour also takes in the National Mosque, Independence Square, and the famous Central Market. And the Chocolate Factory stop whether Beryl's or Cocoa Boutique is the sweetest ending to a big city day.

Batu Caves + Genting Highlands Day 5

Batu Caves is a Hindu sacred site inside a massive limestone hill, guarded at the entrance by the world's tallest statue of Lord Murugan at 42.7 metres. The 272 rainbow-coloured steps up to the cave temples are iconic and the view from the top is spectacular. Then Genting Highlands a cool mountain escape at 1,800m brings you cable cars, theme parks, and views over an endless sea of tropical rainforest.
