DETAIL ITINERARY
Day 01- Fly to Pokhara (827m/2,712ft), trek to Ghandruk (1,940m/6,363ft)
You may get from Kathmandu to Pokhara in a 30-minute scenic trip in a small bombardier aircraft operated by domestic airlines in Nepal. You will be excited about your impending adventure in the Himalayas as a result of the flight's promising bird's-eye view of the Himalayan Ranges. To get to Ghandruk from Pokhara, a 5-hour road trip in a private jeep via Sarangkot Viewpoint is required.
Day 02- Trek from Ghandruk to Chhomrong (2,170m/7,117ft)
You begin your walk today by staying close to the Modi River's bank. After climbing for a bit, you leave the river behind and move in the direction of the enormous boulders. Following the boulder's passage, you must cross a bridge over the Kimrong River and then ascend a difficult trail that leads to Chhomrong. You go to a site called Jhinu Danda before Chhomrong. You descend to bridge the Chhomrong River from Chhomrong.
Day 03- Trek from Chhomrong to Deurali (3,230m)
You continue your walk from Sinuwa by ascending to Kuldi (2470m). You enter the upper Modi valley from here. Then you make a steep descent on a lengthy stone stairway to reach Bamboo (2310m). To get to Dobhan from Bamboo, you must once more climb continuously through bamboo groves and rhododendron forests. As you leave Dobhan, you have to cross a stream and a landslide. You come to a little shrine in the forest where locals leave floral and clothing offerings for Baraha, a local deity. You ascend over a cascade over a rock platform before crossing another Shiva temple and arriving at two lodges in a deep gorge with the names Himalaya Hotel on both.
Day 04- Trek from Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m/13,546ft) via Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3,700m/12,136ft)
As the mountains really begin to rise above Deurali, the valley becomes wider and less steep, and you can see the sanctuary's gates. You reach Bagar by following the trail that takes a detour to the east side of the valley and ascends through an interesting mixture of bamboo and birch. From Bagar, you ascend through a sparse birch forest while navigating further avalanche tracks. Descend to a creek after traversing a moraine. Then you reach Machhapuchhare Base Camp after ascending a stone stairway (3700m). The trail ascends to a few huts where shepherds graze their sheep during the summer from Machhapuchhare Base Camp after following a creek for a short distance. You soon notice the base camp hotels, and then you arrive at Annapurna Base.
Day 05- Descend from Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo
You get up early today to watch the dawn over Annapurna and the nearby mountains. Retrace your steps back to Bamboo after breakfast, via Machhapuchare Base Camp, Hinko, the Himalaya Hotel, and Dobhan. Even though it takes about 7 hours to walk there, there is no difficulty because it is downhill. In a mountain lodge for the night.
Day 06- Trek from Bamboo to Jhinu Danda (1,760m/5,772ft)
It is an uphill climb from Bamboo to Kuldighar and then a downward stroll to Chhomrong Khola. You then ascend Chhomrong's stone steps. After that, the trail drops to Jhinu Danda. Today you will have the chance to relax in the hot springs, which are just a 15-to-20-minute downhill stroll from Jhinu Danda. In a mountain lodge for the night.
Day 07- Trek to Nayapul & drive to Pokhara
One of the best and most tranquil hikes of the entire Annapurna Base Camp journey may be found in Birethanti, which can be reached from Jhinu Danda by walking along the right bank of Modi Khola. Next, proceed to Nayapul. After a one-hour journey from Nayapul, you reach Pokhara. At the hotel, unwind. Walking around the lakefront street market in the evening is enjoyable. Stay the night in a hotel.
Day 08- Fly back to Kathmandu (Can extend further stay at Pokhara)
