    Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be greeted by Guru Travel's representative and transferred to your hotel. After a short rest, you will attend a briefing about the trek and the Rimdu Festival. Depending on your arrival time, you can explore UNESCO heritage sites such as Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), Pashupatinath, or Kathmandu Durbar Square to experience Nepal’s rich cultural heritage. Enjoy a traditional Nepali dinner and prepare for the adventure ahead.

    An early morning scenic flight to Lukla, the gateway to Everest, offers breathtaking views of the Himalayas. After landing, we began our trek towards Phakding, a beautiful village situated alongside the Dudh Koshi River. The trek passes through small Sherpa settlements and lush green landscapes, with teahouses offering delicious foods in Everest region such as Sherpa stew, Tibetan bread, and momos.

    Today, we continue trekking along the Dudh Koshi River, crossing several suspension bridges and entering Sagarmatha National Park, a UNESCO-listed site. The trail gradually ascends to Namche Bazaar, the commercial hub of the Khumbu region. Here, trekkers can explore lively markets, bakeries, and traditional Sherpa museums. The first glimpse of Mount Everest can be seen from Namche.

    Today, we continue trekking along the Dudh Koshi River, crossing several suspension bridges and entering Sagarmatha National Park, a UNESCO-listed site. The trail gradually ascends to Namche Bazaar, the commercial hub of the Khumbu region. Here, trekkers can explore lively markets, bakeries, and traditional Sherpa museums. The first glimpse of Mount Everest can be seen from Namche.

    The trail ascends through rhododendron forests, passing small villages with stunning mountain backdrops. We reach Tengboche Monastery, the largest monastery in the Everest region, where the Rimdu Festival takes place. Upon arrival, we witness monks preparing for the grand ceremonies.

    Today is the main day of the Mani Rimdu Festival in the Everest region. Monks perform elaborate masked dances, chanting prayers and blessings to purify negative energies. Pilgrims, trekkers, and local villagers gather at Tengboche Monastery to celebrate. The vibrant rituals offer a profound spiritual experience.

    Another day at Tengboche Monastery allows us to witness more festival ceremonies and blessings. We engage in cultural exchanges with monks and Sherpa families, gaining deeper insights into Himalayan Buddhism and traditions.

    We begin our trek from Tengboche to Khumjung, a large Sherpa village. Along the way, we enjoy beautiful mountain views. In Khumjung, we visit the Khumjung Monastery, home to the famous Yeti scalp, and the Hillary School, founded by Sir Edmund Hillary. After exploring the village, we stayed the night in Khumjung.

    We descend through lush forests, passing Namche Bazaar, and head towards Monjo, a quiet village near the entrance to Sagarmatha National Park. The trek offers breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks, and Monjo’s peaceful setting provides a perfect place to rest for the night.

    Our final day of trekking brings us back to Lukla. We retrace our steps through forests and along rivers, reflecting on our journey. Upon arrival in Lukla, we celebrate the successful completion of our trek with the team, enjoying a delicious meal and sharing stories of our adventure.

    After an early breakfast, we took a scenic flight back to Kathmandu. The rest of the day is free for shopping or sightseeing, such as visiting Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple) or strolling through the vibrant Thamel district.
