Langtang Valley trek is the nearest trekking route from Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal.The Langtang Valley trek is a profound experience. One of Nepal's most picturesque locations, the Langtang Valley was once a favorite among trekkers looking for breathtaking scenery, unique culture, and warm hospitality in charming homestay guest houses that were all conveniently located near Kathmandu.

Trekking through this lovely valley will help the Langtang community by generating much-needed revenue for their safe and secure reconstruction. This is not philanthropy; rather, it is the practical side of sustainable tourism, where your decisions may honorably assist the local population while protecting their sense of self-worth, culture, and way of life. Outline Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu. Day 02: Sightseeing around Kathmandu valley and preparation for the trek. Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Syafrubesi (1,500m) Day 04: Trek from Syafrubesi to Lama Hotel (2,487m) Day 05: Trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang Valley (3,430m) Day 06: Trek from Langtang to Kyanjin Gompa (3,800m) Day 07: Hike to Kyanjin Ri and trek down to Langtang Day 08: Trek down to Bamboo Day 09: Trek down to Syafrubesi Day 10: Drive back to Kathmandu Day 11: Departure

Detail Itinerary

Upon your arrival at Kathmandu, Tribhuvan International Airport, a representative from our company will greet you and wish you a warm welcome to Nepal before driving you to the hotel you've reserved. After the check-in process is complete, you can unwind and sleep at the hotel. Our guide will give you some briefing about the trek. The evening is free to enjoy Kathmandu at your own accord, you can get some rest and freshen up or familiarize yourself with some good restaurants, ATMs, money changers, and other vital places you might need during your stay.

After breakfast, our guide will receive you at your hotel for an interesting tour of the Swayambhunath Stupa, which is perched atop a hill and offers stunning views of Kathmandu, the valley's lush hills, and tall snow-capped mountains then you will be taken to Kathmandu Durbar Square which is also one of the major attraction in Kathmandu. After the sight seeing of Kathmandu Durbar Square in evening you will be taken to Pashupatinath temple and Bouddhanath Stupa for Sightseeing. All of above place are listed in the UNESCO world heritage sites. After the sightseeing our guide will give briefing regarding the tour in the hotel.

On this day, our guide will receive you at the hotel then we head towards Syafrubesi. It takes about 7 to 8 hrs. to reach Syafrubesi. We will have our lunch at Trishuli on the way to Syafrubesi.

This day we begin our trek after breakfast. We will have our lunch at Bamboo while ascending towards Lama hotel. On the way we might see Red Panda as well. It takes about 4-5 hrs. to reach Lama hotel after lunch.

After a night at Lama hotel, we pack our bags and start our trek towards Langtang Valley. We will have our lunch at Ghoda Tabela and rest a while. After having a good meal, we continue our walk towards Langtang Valley.

After breakfast we explore Langtang for a while and then head towards Kyanjin Gompa via Mundu. Just a half-walk hour's more will bring you to Mundu. The antique homes in this area serve as a memory of how the communities in this valley used to appear. Most of the lodges and homes in this area are now built in a more modern style. Finally, we settle down at Kyanjin Gompa for the night.

This day we hike to Kyanjin Ri in the morning after breakfast. It takes around 2 hours to reach the top of Kyanjin Ri. We will have lunch at Kyanjin Gompa and then trek down to Langtang.

We continue our descend to Bamboo on this day. We will have our lunch at Lama hotel and then hike down to Bamboo for overnight stay.

Finally, this would be our last day of the trek. We descend to Syafrubesi and then stay overnight. We board the bus for Kathmandu tomorrow.

We head towards Kathmandu on this day. On the way we visit Nuwakot Durbar. Upon arrival at Kathmandu, you will be checked in to the property where you can get refreshed. If you like then you can go around Thamel and enjoy Thamel at your own accord. To cap off the journey you will be enjoying a lovely dinner with a cultural program.

After breakfast you'll be departing for your destination today with a bag full of trinkets and a mind full of priceless memories. Our representative will transfer you to the airport 2-3 hours prior to your international fligh
