The guest will be met by our driver at the Kakarbhitta Border and driven to Darjeeling, which is located at an elevation of 2123 meters (70001 feet) and is home to the renowned Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (DHR), a World Heritage Train.After checking into the hotel, the guest will have the rest of the evening free to explore the mall or the nearby shopping center. You will spend the night in Darjeeling.

After breakfast, spend the day exploring the charming town of Darjeeling and its iconic attractions. Start with a visit to Tiger Hill to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the Himalayas and the majestic Kanchenjunga. Continue to Batasia Loop, a beautifully landscaped railway loop, and then explore the historic Ghoom Monastery, one of the oldest Tibetan Buddhist monasteries in the region. If time permits, enjoy a ride on the famous Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, also known as the “Toy Train,” and visit the serene Peace Pagoda for panoramic views of the surrounding hills. In the afternoon, stroll along Chowrasta and Mall Road, sampling local snacks and shopping for souvenirs. Return to your hotel in the evening for an overnight stay.

Early breakfast and an almost 135-kilometer drive to Gangtok Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim, is the 22nd state in India and one of the most picturesque hill stations with a variety of tourist attractions. Located at a height of 1670 meters (5480 feet), Gangtok is the most popular tourist destination in India. It is also one of the most picturesque towns with a wide variety of rhododendron, orchids, and butterflies. – In the evening, feel free to explore M G Road or a nearby shopping district after checking into your hotel in Gangtok.

Start your day with a delicious breakfast at the hotel, and then embark on a full-day sightseeing tour of Gangtok. Begin with a visit to Tashi Viewpoint, offering panoramic views of the Kanchenjunga range, followed by a stop at Ganesh Tok, a hilltop temple with breathtaking vistas of the city. Continue to Rumtek Monastery, one of Sikkim’s largest and most important monasteries, to experience the rich Buddhist culture. Explore the serene Enchey Monastery and the scenic Do Drul Chorten Stupa, both offering a peaceful spiritual atmosphere. In the afternoon, stroll along MG Marg, Gangtok’s vibrant main street, where you can shop for souvenirs, enjoy local delicacies, and soak in the lively atmosphere. Return to your hotel in the evening for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, embark on an exciting excursion to Tsomgo Lake, a stunning glacial lake surrounded by snow-capped mountains. Enjoy the serene beauty of the lake and, if interested, take a yak ride or capture memorable photographs of the breathtaking landscape. Return to Gangtok in the late afternoon and enjoy some free time to relax, explore the local markets, or try the regional cuisine at your leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Your tour will have come to an end when our driver drops you off at the Kakarbhitta Boarder for Kathmandu Departure.
