The 12-day Char Dham Yatra from Kathmandu takes you on
a spiritual pilgrimage to India's four sacred sites: Yamunotri, Gangotri,
Kedarnath, and Badrinath. Starting from Kathmandu, you'll travel through
Rishikesh, Barkot, Uttarkashi, and Guptkashi, with visits to famous temples and
breathtaking treks. The itinerary includes a helicopter ride to Kedarnath (if
available) and scenic drives through the Himalayas, reaching a maximum
elevation of 3,583 meters at Kedarnath. The journey ends with a return to Kathmandu,
offering a peaceful and fulfilling spiritual experience.

DETAIL ITINERARY
Day 1- Kathmandu to Delhi – Rishikesh (Yatra Registration)
Your journey begins with a flight from Kathmandu to Delhi. Upon arrival, you will be driven to Rishikesh, a spiritual town known for its temples and ghats along the Ganges. Complete your Yatra registration and explore local sites in Rishikesh, such as Laxman Jhula and Ram Jhula. Overnight stay in Rishikesh.
Day 2- Rishikesh Local Visit – Barkot
After breakfast, enjoy some local sightseeing in Rishikesh, then depart for Barkot. The drive will take you through beautiful mountain roads and scenic views. Overnight stay in Barkot.
Day 3- Barkot – Jankichatti – Yamunotri – Barkot
Start early and drive to Jankichatti, the starting point for the 6 km trek to Yamunotri. Doli/Pony options are available on a direct payment basis for the trek. After visiting Yamunotri Temple and taking a dip in the holy waters, return to Barkot for an overnight stay.
Day 4- Barkot – Uttarkashi
Depart from Barkot and drive to Uttarkashi, another important stop on the Char Dham Yatra. Visit the famous Kashi Vishwanath Temple and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Overnight stay in Uttarkashi.
Day 5- Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi
Today, you will drive to Gangotri. Visit the Gangotri Temple, one of the most revered sites on the yatra, and take a holy dip in the sacred Ganges River. After your visit, return to Uttarkashi for an overnight stay.
Day 6- Uttarkashi – Guptkashi
After an early breakfast, proceed to Guptkashi. The drive offers beautiful views of the valleys and rivers. On arrival in Guptkashi, check into your hotel and rest. Overnight stay in Guptkashi.
Day 7- Guptkashi – Kedarnath – Guptkashi
Travel from Guptkashi to Kedarnath by helicopter (subject to availability) or by trekking, with Doli/Pony options available for direct payment. Visit the Kedarnath Temple, located amidst the majestic mountains, and participate in the temple rituals. After the darshan, return to Guptkashi for an overnight stay.
Day 8- Guptkashi – Pipalkoti
Leave Guptkashi and travel to Pipalkoti, a peaceful town known for its natural beauty and tranquil atmosphere. Relax and enjoy the views along the way. Overnight stay in Pipalkoti.
Day 9- Pipalkoti – Joshimath – Badrinath
After breakfast, proceed to Badrinath, stopping at Joshimath along the way. Once you reach Badrinath, visit the sacred Badrinath Temple and explore the spiritual aura of the town. Overnight stay in Badrinath.
Day 10- Badrinath – Vishnuprayag – Nandprayag – Karnprayag – Rudraprayag – Srinagar
Depart from Badrinath and drive through the scenic Prayags (confluences of rivers). Visit Vishnuprayag, Nandprayag, Karnprayag, and Rudraprayag before arriving at Srinagar. Overnight stay in Srinagar.
Day 11- Srinagar – Devprayag – Haridwar
On the 11th day, travel from Srinagar to Haridwar, stopping at Devprayag, where the Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers meet to form the Ganga. Upon reaching Haridwar, enjoy a visit to the holy city and attend the evening Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri. Overnight stay in Haridwar.
Day 12- Haridwar – Delhi – Kathmandu (Trip Ends)
After breakfast, drive back to Delhi, where you will catch your flight back to Kathmandu, concluding your spiritual Char Dham Yatra.
