The FIFA World Cup 2026 has reached its business end. Of the 48 teams that started the tournament on June 11, only eight remain, and from the quarter-finals through to the Final on July 19, every single match is being played inside the United States. For Nepali fans, that means late-night and early-morning kickoffs so here is your complete quarter-final, semi-final and Final schedule converted to Nepal Time (NPT), along with a look at the storylines defining this final stretch.

All four quarter-finals are scheduled between July 9 and July 12. Because North America is roughly 9–10 hours behind Nepal, most kickoffs fall in the very late evening or the small hours of the morning in Kathmandu.

For the first time in World Cup history, neither Germany nor Brazil have reached the quarter-finals in the same edition — a reminder of just how open this tournament has been.
These calls are based on current form, tournament stats and sportsbook odds as of July 8 — not a guarantee. Football has already delivered plenty of upsets this tournament, so treat this as a talking point for your own watch party, not a certainty.
France have been the most ruthless side left in the draw, outscoring opponents 14-2 across five matches and winning every game inside 90 minutes. Their front four of Mbappe, Dembele, Olise and Doue or Barcola gives them more attacking depth than any other quarter-finalist.
Morocco have the defensive discipline and knockout pedigree to make it uncomfortable — they eliminated a former champion on the way to the 2022 semi-final — but stopping this French attack for 90 minutes is a tall order.
Sportsbooks have France as strong favourites here, and we lean the same way.
Spain have not conceded a single goal all tournament and are unbeaten in 35 straight matches, the longest run in their history. Belgium have their own hot streak and enough individual quality to trouble anyone on their day, but they have needed late goals and shootouts to get out of tighter group and Round-of-16 games.
Against a Spain side this well-organised, we expect the European Champions to see this one through.
This is the closest call on the board. Norway's Erling Haaland has been the single most dangerous player in the tournament, with seven goals already and a knack for producing moments out of nothing.
But England have the bigger squad depth, more knockout-round experience at this stage, and have found a way to win ugly when needed, as their comeback in Mexico City showed.
We give England the narrow edge, but would not be surprised if Haaland has other ideas.
Lionel Messi remains the difference-maker for the defending champions, directly involved in nine goals so far at age 39.
Argentina's defending has been shaky, twice needing second-half comebacks to survive the knockout rounds, and Switzerland are a well-drilled, disciplined side back in the quarter-finals for the first time since 1954.
Still, a team built around a player performing at this level is hard to bet against in a one-off match.
We favour Argentina, but expect Switzerland to make them work for it.
With every remaining match now played inside the United States, the logistics for Nepali fans are simpler than earlier in the tournament — no more juggling Canada or Mexico legs unless you want to.
