Europe is generally a top place to visit at any time of the year. Europe is a great place to visit for various holiday preferences such as honeymoon, cultural interests, natural & artificial scenery, historical importance, etc.

Generally, the best time to visit Europe is from April to early June and September to October when the climate is mild avoiding the hot summer and harsh winter. These are financially better times for travel as well.

Northern Europe is mostly cold throughout the year and goes below freezing point in the winter while Southern Europe or the Mediterranean region remains hot for most of the year. The winter is usually wet with mild cold weather. We suggest to properly check various Europe tour packages and their itinerary before travelling to Europe.

Best Time to Visit Western Europe

Western Europe comprises some of the most visited countries such as the United Kingdom, Spain, Portugal, France, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, and Switzerland.

Weather-wise, the best time to visit Western Europe is Summer - June to August. During these months, the weather is warm and sunny. This is the perfect time to go out to the beaches and have a good time. However, there will also be huge crowds of tourists. It is recommended to book flights and hotels as early as possible from a reliable travel company if you are planning to visit Western Europe during summer.

If you’re not the biggest fan of the summer, you should visit Western Europe between late March and early June when the weather is mild and best for exploring the natural scenery and artificial monuments. Most locations are closed or open for limited times in the Winter.

Best Time to Visit Eastern Europe

East Europe consists of some lesser-explored countries such as Croatia, Slovenia, Austria, Hungary, Greece, etc.

For clear scenery and comforting weather, the Spring season (April to May) is the best for visiting East Europe. The Summer season (June to September) is hot but bearable. Most tourists prefer this season to visit East Europe. During other seasons than summer, you might feel a lesser crowd of tourists and because of this, you can get good deals on food, accommodation, and travel expenses.
