ENTICING TRIP TO RARA LAKE

On Day 1, begin your journey with a scenic flight from Kathmandu (1,400m) to Nepalgunj (150m), the gateway to western Nepal. The flight, lasting approximately an hour, offers breathtaking aerial views of the majestic Himalayas and the lush Terai plains below. Upon arrival, spend the afternoon exploring Nepalgunj's vibrant bazaars, rich with cultural diversity. You can visit the Bageshwari Temple, a popular local pilgrimage site, or take a short trip to the nearby Bird Sanctuary to enjoy nature’s serenity. On Day 2, start your morning with a 20-minute flight to Talcha Airport (2,850m), renowned for its stunning mountain views. From Talcha, embark on a 5.5 km trek to Rara Lake (3,010m), which takes about 2–3 hours.
