Detail Itinerary

Begin your trek in Nepal with a warm welcome in Kathmandu, the cultural and historical heart of the region of Nepal. Upon landing at Tribhuvan International Airport, a representative will assist you with your Nepal entry visa and transfer to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day exploring Thamel and preparing for your Pikey Peak adventure.

The drive from Kathmandu to Dhap takes you along scenic roads tracing the Sunkoshi River, leading to the beautiful village of Dhap Bazaar. This marks the start of the trekking trail in the Everest region. This drive from Kathmandu gives you the first glimpse of Nepal's countryside, terraced fields, and mountain views.

Today your real trekking experience begins as you trek from Dhap to Japre, passing through remote trails and scenic ridges. This trekking route offers initial views of Everest and Numbur Himal, and your altitude gradually increases. The village of Japre features a beautiful monastery and panoramic scenery.

The trek from Jhapre to Pikey offers forested paths, yak pastures, and mani walls, leading to Pikey Peak Base Camp. As you reach Pikey base, soak in the tranquil atmosphere and prepare for the summit of Pikey Peak the next morning. This day provides the perfect mix of nature and spiritual landmarks.

Rise early for the hike to Pikey Peak, the highest point of the journey. At the top of Pikey Peak, enjoy the stunning sunrise and the iconic view from Pikey Peak. From here, you can see Mount Everest, Kanchenjunga, Dhaulagiri, Mera Peak, and many other Himalayan giants. The panorama from Pikey Peak is truly breathtaking.

Continue your descent and trek to Junbesi, a traditional Sherpa village rich in culture. The trail passes through meadows and forests, with stops at a monastery and local tea houses. Junbesi is one of the highlights of the pikey peak trek route.

The trek to Phaplu takes you along the valley trek route beside Junbesi Khola. The trail descends through lush terrain before reaching Phaplu, where you can enjoy local culture, sample traditional food, and relax.

Today you conclude your trek with a scenic drive from Phaplu to Kathmandu. Once back in the city, enjoy a traditional farewell dinner to celebrate your successful days on Pikey Peak Trek.
