DETAIL ITINERARY
Day 1- Arrival in Bali
You'll arrive at Ngurah Rai International Airport in Denpasar, Bali. After clearing immigration and customs, you'll be greeted by your pre-arranged driver or guide. Your driver will transfer you to your hotel in either Kuta or Seminyak, depending on your preference. Along the way, you'll get your first glimpses of Bali's vibrant culture, bustling streets, and lush landscapes. Upon arrival at your hotel, check-in and settle into your accommodation. Take some time to freshen up and relax after your journey. Depending on your arrival time, you might have some free time to explore the local area or relax by the pool or beach. In the evening, you can venture out to a nearby restaurant to sample some delicious Balinese cuisine. Be sure to try dishes like Nasi Goreng (fried rice), Mie Goreng (fried noodles), or Ayam Betutu (spiced chicken).
Day 2- Explore South Bali
Start your day with a hearty breakfast at your hotel. Your first stop will be Uluwatu Temple, located on the southern tip of Bali's Bukit Peninsula. Perched atop a steep cliff, the temple offers breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean. Explore the temple grounds and watch the resident monkeys frolic among the ancient sculptures and shrines. In the late afternoon, head to the Uluwatu area to catch the famous Kecak Fire Dance performance. This traditional Balinese dance is accompanied by a hypnotic chanting chorus and takes place against the backdrop of a stunning sunset. After the performance, enjoy a seafood dinner at one of the beachfront restaurants in Jimbaran Bay. Feast on freshly grilled fish, prawns, and squid while listening to the sound of the waves crashing on the shore.
Day 3- Ubud and Surroundings
Today, you'll journey to Ubud, Bali's cultural heart and artistic soul. After breakfast, depart from your hotel for the scenic drive to Ubud. Along the way, you'll pass through picturesque villages, terraced rice fields, and lush jungle landscapes. Your first stop in Ubud will be the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary, home to a large population of Balinese long-tailed monkeys. Take a leisurely stroll through the forest and observe the monkeys in their natural habitat. Next, explore Ubud's vibrant art market, where you'll find an eclectic array of handicrafts, textiles, and souvenirs. Bargain with local vendors for unique treasures to take home. For lunch, head to one of Ubud's charming cafes or restaurants to sample some delicious Balinese cuisine. In the afternoon, visit the Tegalalang Rice Terraces, famous for their stunning beauty and intricate irrigation systems. Take a leisurely walk through the terraces and marvel at the lush green landscapes. In the evening, you have the option to attend a traditional Balinese dance performance at a local theater or cultural center.
Day 4- Waterfalls and Temples
Today's itinerary takes you to some of Bali's most sacred sites and natural wonders. After breakfast, depart from Ubud for a day of exploration.
Your first stop will be Tegenungan Waterfall, a picturesque cascade surrounded by lush greenery. Take a refreshing dip in the natural pool at the base of the waterfall or simply enjoy the serene atmosphere. Next, visit the Tirta Empul Temple, a Hindu water temple famous for its holy spring water. Witness locals performing purification rituals in the sacred pools and take part in the spiritual experience if you wish. Continue your temple tour with a visit to Goa Gajah (Elephant Cave), an ancient archaeological site dating back to the 11th century. Explore the cave's mysterious carvings and surrounding temple complex. Return to Ubud in the late afternoon and spend the evening at leisure, perhaps enjoying a traditional Balinese dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 5- East Bali
Today, you'll explore the scenic landscapes and cultural treasures of East Bali. After breakfast, depart from Ubud for the drive to East Bali. Your first stop will be the Tirta Gangga Water Palace, a former royal palace known for its ornate fountains, pools, and gardens. Take a leisurely stroll around the palace grounds and admire the intricate architecture. Next, visit the ancient village of Tenganan, home to the Bali Aga people, Bali's original inhabitants. Explore the village's unique customs, traditional crafts, and distinct way of life. Afterward, head to Virgin Beach, a hidden gem with pristine white sands and crystal-clear waters. Relax on the beach, swim in the ocean, or simply soak up the sun. Day 6- Nusa Penida Day Trip
Today, you'll embark on an exciting day trip to Nusa Penida, a nearby island known for its rugged coastline and stunning beaches. After an early breakfast, transfer to Sanur or Padang Bai for a speedboat to Nusa Penida. Upon arrival, your guide will take you to explore some of the island's highlights. Visit Kelingking Beach, famous for its dramatic cliff formations and crystal-clear waters. Take a short hike down to the beach for a closer look at the stunning scenery. Next, visit Broken Beach and Angel's Billabong, two natural rock formations located nearby. Marvel at the unique geological features and enjoy panoramic views of the ocean. Finally, relax and swim at Crystal Bay Beach, known for its calm waters and vibrant marine life. Snorkeling equipment is available for rent if you want to explore the underwater world. Return to Bali in the late afternoon and transfer back to your hotel in Ubud or Seminyak.
Day 7- Departure
Today is your last day in Bali. Depending on your flight time, you may have some free time in the morning to relax at your hotel or do some last-minute souvenir shopping. Check out from your hotel and transfer to Ngurah Rai International Airport for your return flight to Kathmandu.
