DETAIL ITINERARY
Day 1- Arrival in Kathmandu
One of the representatives from Guru Travels Limited will greet you with warmth when
you arrive at the 1,400-meter-long Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu and
take you to your accommodation. After checking in, spend some time relaxing or
exploring Thamel's busy streets, which are a popular tourist attraction. The guide will go
over the itinerary, necessary preparations, and any questions you may have during the
evening trip briefing. Spend the night in a three-star hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 2- Drive to Beni
Start your journey with an early morning drive to Beni (899m), a bustling town located in
the Myagdi district and the gateway to the Dhorpatan region. The scenic 8-9 hour drive
covers approximately 300 km, taking you through terraced fields, small towns, and lush
river valleys along the Trishuli and Kali Gandaki Rivers. Enjoy views of the countryside
and distant mountain ranges. Overnight stay at a comfortable lodge in Beni.
Day 3- Trek to Darbang
Take a 6-7 hour hike from Darbang to Lamsung (2,160m). The trail passes through
hillsides with breathtaking views of the surrounding hills, little communities, and deep
forests. Observe the cooler climate and changes in vegetation as you ascend higher.
Spend the night in Lamsung at a simple teahouse.
Day 4- Trek to Lamsung
Take a 6-7 hour hike from Darbang to Lamsung (2,160m). The trail passes through
hillsides with breathtaking views of the surrounding hills, little communities, and deep
forests. Observe the cooler climate and changes in vegetation as you ascend higher.
Spend the night in Lamsung at a simple teahouse.
Day 5- Trek to Jaljala
Discover the stunning mountain grassland of Jaljala (3,430m), renowned for its
wide-ranging views of the Dhaulagiri and Gurja Himal peaks. Before reaching the wide
pastures of Jaljala, the five to six-hour journey involves challenging climbs through oak
and rhododendron trees. Locals regularly graze their animals in this area. Stay the night
in a basic campsite or a tent.
Day 6- Enter Dhorpatan Hunting Reserve
You formally enter Nepal's sole hunting reserve, the Dhorpatan Hunting Reserve
(2,850m to 5,500m), today. Camp in a specified section of the reserve after trekking
through challenging terrain. The Himalayan tahr, blue sheep, and other bird species can
all be found in this area. Explore the area and get ready for the next few days during the
evening. Camp for the night in the reserve.

hills. For trekkers returning home, Gurjaghat is a tranquil resting place. Spend the night
at a campsite or teahouse.
Day 11- Trek to Patichaur
Trek to Patichaur (2,200m), a charming community that combines natural beauty with
cultural immersion. During the five to six-hour drive, you pass through small Magar
communities and wooded areas where you can engage with residents and enjoy
traditional hospitality. In Patichaur, spend the night at a teahouse.
Day 12- Drive back to Kathmandu
Drive roughly 260 kilometers back to Kathmandu from Patichaur in 8–9 hours. The
picturesque drive provides a final glimpse of the countryside and its shifting scenery.
Check into your hotel when you get to Kathmandu, then spend the evening relaxing,
maybe going to some local sites or shopping for trinkets. Spend the night in a three-star
hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 13- Departure
After breakfast, a representative of Guru Travels Limited will transfer you to Tribhuvan
International Airport. Bring your cherished memories of your adventure in the Dhorpatan
Hunting reserve, along with stories of wildlife, culture, and scenic beauty to share with
