Do Nepali Citizens Need a Visa for China?

 YES — Visa Required

Nepali passport holders must obtain a China visa prior to travel, for both tourism and business purposes. There is currently no visa-on-arrival or visa-free arrangement between Nepal and China for regular passport holders.

Visa applications must be submitted through the Chinese Embassy in Kathmandu or through an authorized visa facilitation service. Guru Travels Limited assists applicants through the entire process, from document preparation to submission.

Financial Documents — What You Need

You must demonstrate sufficient funds to support yourself throughout your stay in China. The embassy evaluates the following:

Last 6 months bank statement with Balance Certificate

STATEMENT PERIOD REQUIRED

Statement must cover at least 6 consecutive months prior to application

Employed applicants must also provide a Salary & Leave Letter from their employer. Self-employed applicants must provide Company Registration & PAN certificate and a company bank statement.

  • Only applicants who fully accept the above conditions and requirements are advised to proceed with a visa application.
